Overview

Provincial Nominee Programs are among the most important and fastest routes to Canadian permanent residence. They allow provinces to select people whose skills and circumstances match the specific needs of that region — people who want to live and work there.

Participating provinces and territories sign agreements with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) that let them nominate candidates who meet their criteria. Prince Edward Island, Manitoba, Quebec, Ontario, New Brunswick, Saskatchewan, and British Columbia all run active streams.
